It's one of those one size fits all... ugly white ones they give to the patients who test positive w/ the H1N1 flu. Ya, lucky me i've got it! :(
Sunday morning i woke up with a sore throat & cough, later that day i started to get a headache/fever. I stayed home from church figuring i'd be better by morning so i could go to school... NOPE! I woke up Monday morning feeling even crappier! So i emailed my professors & stayed home. I woke up Tuesday & got ready for work even though i still felt like crap. I got to work & the doctors said before i worked they wanted to test me for the flu. And just my luck i tested positive! So now... no work, no school.... but i gotta wear this stupid mask!
Pros of the mask:
keeps my mouth & nose warm in this windy weather...

Cons of the mask:
annoying, can't sleep with it on!
is very claustrophobic
can't breathe with it on
bugs my ears

Dear John's

So i was on Dear Elder today writing a missionary & there was a link on the left side of the page saying DEAR JOHN LETTERS, i decided hmm.. reading those would probably make me laugh & i need a laugh so i clicked on it. And WOW! Holy Smokes some people are HARSH! But I did find two i REALLY love so i wanna share it with you: (i am going to insert some names to make it better & more interesting!! haha most will understand)

Dear Elder Long,
I want you to know that you mean the world to me. I will always treasure the moments we spent together, and I know we will have many more of those moments in the future, considering that I'm marrying your older brother Trevor in two weeks! Yeah, isn't it crazy! We had wanted you to come to the wedding, but we decided we couldn't wait that long. We're getting married on Dec 6th in the DC Temple. I know I promised to wait for you, but I know God has something better in mind for both of us. But we're thinking that we might name our first son after you. That would be nice, wouldn't it? I hope we can still be really good friends, otherwise Trevor would feel bad. Anyways, have a great day!

I had a friend who received a Dear John and this was his response after gathering photo copies of all the Elders' in his district girlfriends, sisters, cousins, etc. (around her age & a little older) He then sent all of the pictures back to his "sweetheart" with the following note:

Dear Whitney,

I am glad you have found someone to share eternity with. I, however, forgot which one you are. If you could please remove your picture and send the rest back, that would be great! Thanks!

Our First Cousin Picture

Hello everyone reading my blog, I bet your all thinking.. Wow 2 posts in one week.. Actually i figured the post about me going private is old news. I mean if you wanna be able to view my blog next week after it goes private, you most likely already emailed me & given me your email .

So I decided it was time for a new post mainly because we got Our First Cousin Picture (older girls only, 17 & up is the limit) I know hair colors don't match everyone exactly the lighting wasn't the best! But this photo really shows the true us :) Me (belle),

Private? Or Not?

The lingering question i have had recently (considering lots of people going private) is
should i or should i not go private?!
I have been trying to decide if i want to or not? I hate it when other blogs i visit go private cuz i cant see there blogs anymore without being invited, and sometimes i'm not one of there "good friends" so i hesitate emailing them and ask in case they went private so me & other not so good friends couldn't look at there blog... But i also like when others find my blog and love to find other long lost friends blogs and see what they are up to.
Well i have made the decision....

Lets see how long this private blog lasts? Who knows it could be the greatest thing to ever happen? Or i just may decide i hate being private and want anyone to look at my amazing blog?! haha :)

Guys= Jerks

I have decided that i officially hate ALL guys...except my dad, brothers, uncles, cousins & my grandpa. They are JERKS!!!!!!

Rain

It rained really hard for a little while today! Me & 2 of my roomies played in the rain, running through it and jumping in the puddles....in our clothes :) At the institute there is a ditch in the middle of the lawn, in the ditch there was a HUGE puddle! Erika & April decided that they were gonna sit in the puddle because the water was warm... i know kinda surprising for such a deep puddle.
Here is a picture that i took of my 2 roommates sitting in a huge puddle in there clothes, unders and all!

Got My Flu Shot

So i got my flu shot and this is the end result.....(after 2 days)

So the red spot has a temperature of probably 100 plus... and is rock hard, sticks out like an inch

Can you see where they poke the needle in at?! Cuz i can't...
