I am not huge reader... Well to be honest I HATE READING!! But when i hear of a good book, I can't put it down. I have to read it from start to finish before i can go to bed. I read the first book in one day, the next day i read the second & in 2 days i read the 3rd. I have started this series by the wonderful artist, Anita Stansfield. I would recommend it to everyone!!!!
Today i was reading this talk by my favorite President Henry B. Eyring, called "Home For Christmas." I came across a part that really struck me it reads:
"What all of us long for in our hearts, at Christmastime and always, is to feel bound together in love with the sweet assurance that it can last forever. This is the promise of eternal life, which God has called His greatest gift to His children (see D&C 14:7). That is made possible by the gifts to us of His Beloved Son: the Savior’s birth, Atonement, and Resurrection. It is through the Savior’s life and mission that we have the assurance that we can be together in love and live forever in families."
His talk was based on 4 main topics:
1. Longing for Eternal Love (D&C 14:7)
2. Finding the Promised Joy (Matt 6: 14-15)
3. Felling the Joy of Giving (Mosiah 4: 20-23 & Revelations 13:8)
4. Blessed with his light (Moroni 7: 16, D&C 81:5 & 3 Nephi 19:24-25)
I would encourage you all too read it if you have a little extra time on your hands this holiday season!! Or it'd be a great fhe lesson. Just go to lds.org or in the Dec. 2009 Ensign or Liahona to find it. Its a great talk.

Sunday morning i woke up with a sore throat & cough, later that day i started to get a headache/fever. I stayed home from church figuring i'd be better by morning so i could go to school... NOPE! I woke up Monday morning feeling even crappier! So i emailed my professors & stayed home. I woke up Tuesday & got ready for work even though i still felt like crap. I got to work & the doctors said before i worked they wanted to test me for the flu. And just my luck i tested positive! So now... no work, no school.... but i gotta wear this stupid mask!
Pros of the mask:
keeps my mouth & nose warm in this windy weather...
Cons of the mask:
annoying, can't sleep with it on!
is very claustrophobic
can't breathe with it on
bugs my ears
So i was on Dear Elder today writing a missionary & there was a link on the left side of the page saying DEAR JOHN LETTERS, i decided hmm.. reading those would probably make me laugh & i need a laugh so i clicked on it. And WOW! Holy Smokes some people are HARSH! But I did find two i REALLY love so i wanna share it with you: (i am going to insert some names to make it better & more interesting!! haha most will understand)
Dear Elder Long,
I want you to know that you mean the world to me. I will always treasure the moments we spent together, and I know we will have many more of those moments in the future, considering that I'm marrying your older brother Trevor in two weeks! Yeah, isn't it crazy! We had wanted you to come to the wedding, but we decided we couldn't wait that long. We're getting married on Dec 6th in the DC Temple. I know I promised to wait for you, but I know God has something better in mind for both of us. But we're thinking that we might name our first son after you. That would be nice, wouldn't it? I hope we can still be really good friends, otherwise Trevor would feel bad. Anyways, have a great day!

Hello everyone reading my blog, I bet your all thinking.. Wow 2 posts in one week.. Actually i figured the post about me going private is old news. I mean if you wanna be able to view my blog next week after it goes private, you most likely already emailed me & given me your email .
Me (belle),I have decided that i officially hate ALL guys...except my dad, brothers, uncles, cousins & my grandpa. They are JERKS!!!!!!
It rained really hard for a little while today! Me & 2 of my roomies played in the rain, running through it and jumping in the puddles....in our clothes :) At the institute there is a ditch in the middle of the lawn, in the ditch there was a HUGE puddle! Erika & April decided that they were gonna sit in the puddle because the water was warm... i know kinda surprising for such a deep puddle.

we love the rain :)So i got my flu shot and this is the end result.....(after 2 days)
Can you see where they poke the needle in at?! Cuz i can't...So we always have a beginning of the year fashion show and this year i think Tyler had the BEST outfit ever!!! He got a little carried out of hand with his outfit for spirit week! But we gotta love Ty-nerd!! :)

look at how tiny she looks in his arms... Funny story about Skyler and babies! We babysit my little cousin Jaidyn every Sunday and she liked Skyler this one Sunday and you could tell it just made his day so he played with her and carried her around the house all day. Then he went to my mom in the kitchen and was like mom, i am so baby hungry. She kinda looked at him half smiling and was like well if you want a baby your gonna have to get married first... Then Sky looked at her all serious and was like... No Mom!! You've got it all wrong i want you to have another baby! I'm not ready for one of my own. HAHA My mom was kinda caught off guard but immediately said Sky dearest my baby maker is broken so your gonna have to have the kids now. :) hahahaha it was so funny! I have never laughed so hard in my life! You all should have been there!

Lake Time!!Saturday (June 20th) my friend Brittany Phillips got married!! (really crazy cuz i lived with her and she is my same age!! i'm totally to young to get married!!!) She married Sterling Tobiasson in the St. George Temple. It was a great wedding. Beautiful Day outside and i'm sure a beautiful ceremony. I got to babysit all of Stew's nieces and nephews while they were in the temple. It was lots of fun. Later that day i got to go and help set up some stuff at her reception. It was gorgeous. Her reception went well.. all in all i am glad it is over! :) Here are some pics from the wedding.

Last Sunday, June 14th, we went up north and went to Lagoon, The Mayan, & The Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was a lot of fun besides the fact that i had a ginormous cold sore & canker! Here are some pictures from up there:

my cold sore...as you can see my face was super swollen because first of all that cold sore stuck out so far i could almost look down and see it....also directly under that cold sore on the inside of my mouth i had a huge canker! Lots of pain!!! But all in all of fun trip with my family :)So Saturday i went to lunch with some of my family to celebrate Tommy (Hirschi) going through the temple. After Sky invited me to go with him, Axton & Axton's companion from his mission. We went out south and went the back way into the sand dunes. It was super fun...minus the wind! We drove a while and then Axton & his friend left. So me & Sky decided to keep goin and to drive around the golf course and then back through the sand dunes back to the truck! It was so much fun. Sky has been home 2 1/2 weeks or so and this was the first time i got to spend time alone with him. I missed doin that so much! He is always with someone else.... I hope that he will fit me into his schedule more often...i mean come on i am his favorite sister and more important than anyone else:) haha (jk about the more important..not the favorite sister! :)

So I got to babysit Chad & Terra's cute little girls at my apartment the other night and we spent most of the time playing at the park and on a huge grass field. It was lots of fun :) Here are some cute pictures of the girls! I love them so much!

My most favorite picture ever!! Vennalee isn't quite old enough to play soccer so we sat on the blanket and she told me so many stories.... Look at her cute smile :) i love her!I just got back from a great road trip to Vegas. My aunt Rhonda wanted me to come down and meet her nephew who just got back on Wednesday from the Sydney North Australia Mission. So i got there on Saturday night and Rhonda took us to the Waters house so we could meet Trevor & JaNae her niece and nephew. They were headed to the Stratosphere and invited me and Tia to go with them. So we went with them and a few other friends to ride the rides. We all went on the Big Shot. It was pretty intense :) being so high up there in the air! (really cool!) Sunday we went to Trevor's homecoming which he did very good on his talk. The spirit was definitely there!! Then went to his house for lunch. Trevor let us try some good Aussie licorice (spelling?!?!) and some really really good chocolate stuff. After a few hours of visiting with Trevor and the rest of his family and friends we went back to Ronnow's and Rhonda's to take our regular Sunday afternoon nap. :) That night we all went out for a walk and Rhonda wanted us to meet this cute kid in her neighborhood so we went to his house and tlked to him for a little while. His name was Kevin. He got some of his friends together to introduce us to and to play badminton with! Trevor and JaNae came over and played with us. Pretty much me and Tia were very good at it...hahaha jk we sucked but we can blame it on it being our first time :)
Vegas was definitely worth it! I can't wait til i have a free weekend again to go there again and hangout with my new friends there! :)
Skyler is finally home! It is GREAT!!! :) We picked him up at the airport on Thursday at 4:19, it was super fun to see him again for the first time! The only requests he had for when we got into hurricane was to eat at Pizza Factory, get new garments and to hug/try on his turn-outs ! :) So after we did the first to we went to the fire station and he tried on his turn-outs! Isn't he handsome! :)
I am so glad my big brother is home! :)
I know this is a few weeks late but a good saying i like a lot...Better late then never! :)
Elder Axton Hoyt is finally home!! He flew in to the St. George Airport on May 1st, 2009 at 4:19p.m. It was so fun to see him. I got the chance to go on a date with him 5 days after he had been home...and he wasn't like all returned missionaries... he wasn't awkward! :) haha We carried on a conversation the whole time. We went to Tom's Deli (the most amazing deli) and then we just talked. It was really fun! I hope lots more of those dates are in the future! Here is the only picture i have of me with Axton, and it was taken at his farewell luncheon. I guess i will have to get on top of it and get a more recent one of us, we have both changed so much!
All i can say is I am glad he is back....and i cant wait for the 21st to come!!! :)

So for Conference Sunday me and a couple of my roomies decided that we & a couple of our friends would house hop and get free food all day. So we (Me, Shay, Mikyla, Rigo, Brady, Chantel, & Adaiza) started out with Breakfast at my house.... Homemade pancakes, homemade syrups, and bacon. Then watched the morning session there. After it was over we all climbed in our cars and headed to Shay's house where we played some volleyball while waiting for lunch to be prepared. For lunch we ( Me, Koy, Caleb, Shay, Mikyla, Rigo,Chantel, & Adaiza) had Ham, Cheesie Potatoes, a Veggie & Cheesecake for dessert! It was scrumptious!! After eating there we all climbed back in our cars and headed over to Mikyla's house, to eat and listen to the afternoon session. So we (Me, Casey, Rigo, Shay, Mikyla, Chantel, Adaiza, Ryan, Tyler, & Chantelle W) all ate some delicious dutch oven meat & potatoes, salad, chips and salsa w/ a yummy yummy peach cobbler for desert! All i can say about this day was....Man we are good at planning house hopping! And i cant wait til next conference when i can do it again :)

Lately I have been having lots of struggles with my friends and from decisions i made in high school to date certain boys i have lost lots of my closest friends....But i have recently made a new friendship with my cousin Brandi that i will cherish forever. Finally i am posting "The Bruise" that i got from donating plasma... It is very tender!!! And these pictures dont even do my bruises justice...they look worse in real life...even ask my roomies!!! ****CAUTION****The following pictures should be viewed at your own risk! People have almost passed out after seeing the following pictures (true statement) But enough blabbing..here it is:
Day #4 the bruise is finally starting to go away although it really kills in the dark areas of it!!!
Day #6 The bruise is still here...dang it all! but only some dark painful spots left! It needs to go away so i can donate again!!!I got a new car!!!! It's a Chevy Aveo '04 I love love love it! It took the place of my wonderful saturn that just wasn't running the greatest! And it was super noisy thanks to Sky & Axton for tearing it apart so much to "make it better" haha i think they may have put it back together and left out some pieces! But my new car is so quiet and wonderful! The only thing that sucks is...i am buying it so i feel broke! (i donate plasma to pay for it! haha) and i got a gnar bruise from it! i'll post that picture next! even tho the picture doesnt do it justice!!!) But anywho i hope you enjoy the pictures!! :)
